SOFÍA AGUILAR is a Latina writer, poet, and fourth-year student at Sarah Lawrence College and originally from Los Angeles. Most recently, her work has appeared in The Sarah Lawrence Review, Melanin. Magazine, and Beyond Words International Literary Magazine, among other publications. In addition to writing prose and poetry, she is the co-founder and editor-in-chief of Mag 20/20, and has previously served as the director of online fiction at The Isis magazine, a prose editor at TheSarah Lawrence Review, a poetry editor at Beyond Words, and a copy and line editor of author M.S. Edwards’s debut novel No Great Matter. She has received the 2018 Nancy Lynn Schwartz Prize for Fiction and is a three-time recipient of the Jean Goldschmidt Kempton Scholarship for Young Writers for her outstanding contributions to her college community.
